The Safe T Kids compaign is an ID program that provides piece of mind to parents.  Safe T Kids records your child's image and information to have on hand in the event it is ever needed.

During your child's birth month, he or she is eligible for a complimentary birthday session through our Celebrate Kids program.  These sessions will now include a Safe T Kids ID card with every portrait purchase.  Additional prints are still available a la carte.

2011 Family Model Rep Search! {family photographer | Conroe, TX}

At the turn of each new year marks the perfect time for Carty Photography to update its marketing pieces. To do this fresh new faces are needed. Sure, images of family portrait sessions taken throughout the year could be used, but those have already been seen by almost everyone. We want to try something new!

Carty Photography is currently searching for a family to be the 2011 Family Model Reps.

What's the catch?

The family chosen must agree to the following:

• I will be a promoter for Carty Photography. I will tell all my family and friends about Carty Photography and invite them to use Carty Photography for their portrait needs.
• If I am a fan of other local photographers I will remove them from my friend's list on Facebook during my commitement to Carty Photography.
• I will inform Carty Photography of my family's clothing options/choice prior to each photoshoot.
• My family will represent Carty Photography in a positive way.
• I will work with Carty Photography to schedule my family's photo sessions.
• I live in either the Conroe or Willis area.
  

Who can apply?

All family types living in Conroe or Willis may apply. The world is diverse and I want it to show. However, we do ask that the chosen family be no more than two parental figures and four children.


What do we get?

The family chosen to be our 2011 Family Model Reps will receive one complimentary family session, personalized rep cards complete with images of you and our contact info, watermarked images on facebook with your family members tagged and some other fun freebies. In addition, you'll also receive one gift print (8x10 or smaller) for each referral that books a session with Carty Photography. You'll also save 20% on your 2011 Holiday Session prints when you book a full holiday session.

Casting Call #2 {maternity photographer | Conroe, TX}

Since the Christmas rush is over (A big THANK YOU to those of you who allowed me to do your Christmas portraits!), I will be busy coming up with new ideas for limited edition sessions & promotions, creating props, and updating my portfolio!
As I am planning new things, I need a few people to test them out. These people will in turn get three low resolution digital images from their session at no charge printable up to a 5x7 with the print release (these are made available via download only).


I have already announced a casting call for kiddos ages 7 to 13 who have a special hobby or play an instrument.  My second casting call is for a maternity session!  If you are due February or March and would like more details, please email me at carty.photography@yahoo.com.  Please include the sex of your baby (if known), estimated due date, and why you would like to participate.


If you are someone who makes handcrafted items (crochet, sew, or knit) and would like to have pictures of your items in use please send email as well for more details.

Casting Call {child photographer | Conroe, TX}

Do you have a child from ages 7 to 13?  Does he or she play an instrument, have an interesting hobby, or enjoy a sport?  Carty Photography is looking for six models for an upcoming promo.  Sessions will be approximately 15-20 minutes per model and take place on a Sunday afternoon in January.  If you are interested send an email to carty.photography@yahoo.com.  Each model will receive a complimentary 8x10 for their services.

Website Maintenance

If you've visited our website today you might notice that it has been replaced with a big white page of emptiness.  We are in the process of changing our website over to a new host.  Once its completely moved over and totally revamped you'll be able to access us again.  In the future you can look forward to a site suited for your mobile phone, online galleries without accessing Zenfolio, as well as mini-sites for your special events.  I look forward to all the new things 2011 brings to Carty Photography.

Meet the Stone family.  They are return clients.  The last session we had was for Princess J's birthday this summer.  She didn't want her photo taken, but Mr. B did.  This time it was reversed.  Mr. B just was not happy with the plans for the day.  He presented us with a challenge but overall I think we took care of it.  I always love family sessions.

New for 2011 are Carty Photography's Limited Edition Sessions.  These are 30 minute sessions of your child(ren) in a predetermined theme.  Sessions are $45 are designed for one person.  Packages start at $89 or you may order your prints a la carte via your personal online gallery.

Cutest Kid Contest Winner {child photographer | Conroe, TX}

If you remember Carty Photography held its very own Cutest Kid Contest at the end of September.  By receiving the most votes, Daniel became our 2010 Cutest Kid Contest winner.  We had his session earlier this week.  This kid is going places.  His imagination is HUGE and is going to take him to the moon.  At least if you ask Daniel that's what he would say.  He is in love with space and even wants to visit some day.  Though he's only three (he believes he is 5), he has BIG personality.  It was so fun working with this adorable little boy.

I know I say it all the time, but I'll say it again.  I have the best clients.  Return clients are my favorite.  It allows me to watch their family grow and see the change not only in them, but myself as a photographer as well.  This family reminds me of mine and that could be why I find myself emotional when editing them.  Mom and Dad are high school sweethearts and they share their love for three beautiful blue-eyed cuties.  Can't you just see the love?

Princess E turns ONE! {infant photographer | Conroe, TX}

Hear Ye, Hear Ye.  Her Royal Highness has officially turned one today.  She has graced the Larson Kingdom effortlessly bringing joy and love to all those who know her.  It's hard to believe her big moment is here.  Seems like just yesterday her mama told me she was expecting.  Waiting patiently (yeah right, who are we kidding, lol) we eventually heard the news it was a girl.  It's been pretty pink ever since.  I've had the true privilege of photographing Princess E since she was six weeks old.  I feel my eyes tear up with each session as I have watched her parents hurt and suffer to get her here and now she brings tears of joy with each and every smile.  Happy Birthday Princess E!
